We've been in Iceland for five days now and have experienced herds of horses, four seasons in a day, a long and unexpected drive around Hvalfjörður (half-amazing, half-insane), storms in the south and intense winds in the far west. That, and getting married here (more to come on that!).
When we first landed here and drove past the lava fields between Keflavik airport and Reykjavik (the capital) it felt like we were on another planet. This was in contrast to the south where the rising hills-turned-into-mountains gave way to waterfalls and valleys, or the far north west with its pale yellow grass and restaraunts in the middle of nowhere.
These shots are a mix of the south and north west, and I've many more to come as I sort through them and plan another road trip to Vík before we leave.
